Build the lab.

A lab is a grid of half-metre cells. Players lay out walls, pipes, cables, lights and stations piece by piece, with equipment they buy and carry in.

Basement, warehouse or facility

Three lab sizes, each behind a street door, and each one starts as an empty room. Admins place the lab and hand it to a player, and the owner adds the crew from the lab's terminal.

Build on a grid

Pick pieces from the palette and place them: pipes, tanks, planter blocks, lights, fans and every station. Drag to lay a whole run of pipe or wall at once. The overlay shows what is watered, lit and connected before you commit, and Z undoes the last move.

Rooms with their own air

Split a lab into rooms with OSB, drywall or insulated walls, doorways, vent walls and an insulated ceiling. Every closed room keeps its own temperature and humidity, and better walls hold it longer.

Lab grids in your MLOs

Admins can create a lab grid inside an MLO, or on open ground, so a lab can live in an interior your server already has. Players build in it like in any other lab.

Labs without an admin

Players can start on their own: pitch a 2.5 by 2.5 m gazebo or an 8 by 5 m frame tent on flat open ground and it becomes their lab, run on a generator and water cans.

  1. Small tent
  2. Large tent

Power that can trip

Run cables from the wall box to every light, fan and station, with switches and 24-hour timers. Go over the 3,600 W breaker and it trips. The lab gets an electricity bill, and an unpaid one cuts the supply.

Water through real pipes

Fill tanks from the wall hose and pipe them to beds and the extraction vat. Valves cut a line, every planter on a tank shares its water, and an open pipe end leaks until you cap it.

Air and climate

An extractor and fans move the air. Heaters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers and a thermostat hold each room in range: weed wants 20 to 28 °C, mushrooms 80 % humidity or more.

One screen runs the lab

The terminal on the wall shows plants, water, lighting timers, drying racks, airflow, climate, power and the bill, the crew, door security and skills. Click through it with the mouse in game. Every switch on it is a request the server checks.

Readings on the props

The terminal, grow monitors, thermostats and station panels sit on the props in the room and show the lab's live readings, so everyone inside sees the same numbers.

  • The lab terminal's system overview on its green LCD
    Lab terminal
  • A grow monitor on a mushroom bed showing moisture, airflow and 64 ready to pick
    Grow monitor
  • A thermostat reading 16.5 °C and 62 % humidity with its two dials

Grow it.

Plants and mushrooms grow on the server, also while nobody is inside. Water, light, clean leaves and the right air decide the quality. Neglect kills.

Beds of any shape

Planter blocks join into beds, from a single block to an L. Fill them with soil, add sprinklers and LED or UV bed lights, and stand a bed monitor beside them to plant, harvest and check every plant from one touch screen.

Weed in four stages

Plant a seed and grow it through four stages. Clean the fan leaves so it keeps growing, then cut the bud branches one by one. LED light grows it 25 % faster, and UV light wins back quality lost to dry soil or bad air.

  1. Seed
  2. Branch
  3. Dried
  4. Buds
  5. Bag
  6. Joint

Neglect kills

Dry soil, missing light, leaves left on and the wrong air each cost quality. Leave a plant long enough and it wilts, then dies.

Dry, trim and bag

Hang branches on a drying rack, or in a drying cabinet that holds its humidity. Then trim, grind, bag and roll joints at the processing table, worked with the mouse wheel.

Breed new strains

Four strains: OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Purple Haze and White Widow. Collect pollen from a male and cross it onto a female. OG Kush with Sour Diesel can give Purple Haze seeds, and OG Kush with Purple Haze can give White Widow.

  1. OG Kush
  2. Sour Diesel
  3. Purple Haze
  4. White Widow

Mushrooms

Mushroom beds need wet substrate and moving air. The bed monitor says when they are ready to pick; dry them on tray racks and bag them at the table.

  1. Substrate
  2. Fresh
  3. Dried
  4. Bag

Cook it.

Every chemical step is a station you work by hand from its own camera view. What passes between stations is a real item, and its quality follows the batch to the bag. Players level a skill for each drug as they work.

Cocaine

Grow coca bushes and pick their leaf clusters, which grow back. Dry the leaves, soak them with gasoline in the extraction vat and stir; without enough airflow the fumes cost purity. Refine the paste on the chem heater between 70 and 90 °C, then cut it: one base and a cutting agent make two portions at 70 % of the purity.

  1. Leaves
  2. Dried
  3. Paste
  4. Base
  5. Cut
  6. Bag

Crack

Cook cocaine base with an activator on the chem heater, turn the heat down until it sets into a cake, break the cake into rocks with a hammer and smoke them from a glass stem.

  1. Activator
  2. Cake
  3. Rocks

Meth

Measure acetone, ammonia and iodine into a flask, blend the base in the cooker at 110 to 130 °C, add the acid, then pour, freeze and smash it into shards. Hold it above 170 °C and the batch catches fire; at 185 °C the cooker explodes.

  1. Acetone
  2. Base
  3. Cooked
  4. Frozen
  5. Shards
  6. Bag

Ecstasy

Cook and crash out a crystal base, grind it in a mortar, tumble it with binder and an additive, and press it into pills with a lever press. The additive picks the pill, its colour and its effect.

  1. Classic
  2. Rush
  3. Mellow
  4. Trippy
  5. Turbo

A cookbook for every drug

Each drug has a hardcover cookbook that players open in both hands and page through. Its numbers are read from your lab settings, so it stays right when you change a recipe. Switch a book to scribbled notes with rough clues, and hand out the detailed edition as loot.

Sell it, and live with it.

Supplies come from shopkeepers, product leaves on the street, and a busy lab draws the police.

Supply shops

Place shopkeepers anywhere from the admin panel. Out of the box they sell every seed, supply and piece of lab equipment players need.

Street deals

Walk up to anyone on foot and offer drugs. The camera moves over your shoulder onto their face and the conversation opens. The server makes every roll, price and counter-offer, so a modded client can't pick its own outcome.

  1. 1They greet you

Five kinds of buyer: regular, nervous, junkie, big spender and tough guy. Each pays, haggles and reacts differently.

  2. 2You offer

Pick a drug and quality from what you carry. They show interest, ask for something else, call the police or grab a bag and run.

  3. 3You haggle

Name a price. Ask too much and they counter or lose patience; ask 1.5 times their price and they take it as an insult.

  4. 4The deal

The goods go, dirty money comes back. Price follows quality, the demand left in that block and the time of night.

Effects

Roll a joint and smoke it, heat meth in a glass pipe or crack in a stem, eat mushrooms or take a pill. Each drug has its own high, from a colour pulse and a sway to a full trip.

Addiction

Use builds addiction per substance. Cravings start at 25 %, withdrawal comes in waves from 50 %, and highs get shorter as tolerance grows. It wears off over time, offline too, and EMS can treat it through an export.

Heat and police raids

A lab with a street door draws attention while it works, and on-duty police can raid it. Owners can fit three security items at the door.

  1. Keypad
  2. Door camera
  3. Reinforced door
  1. 1Heat

Plants, cooks, power draw and people inside warm a lab up. At full heat the police get an anonymous tip.

  2. 2Breach

On-duty officers breach the street door. Everyone inside hears an alarm and the owner is warned.

  3. 3Search

The lab is sealed. The search seizes plants, cooks, stored drugs and a share of the equipment.

  4. 4Cooldown

The lab can't be breached again for a set time. Admins can end a raid or turn raids off per lab.

Built for a live server.

The server owns every lab. Players see the same lab, and nothing they do counts until the server agrees.

  • Labs keep working with nobody inside: plants grow, racks dry, rooms heat and cool, and timers switch on the game clock. Time the server was down is caught up on start.
  • Every action is a request the server checks, from a station step to a switch on the terminal. Items move only on the server.
  • A lab's save waits for the players' inventories, so after a crash the lab and the items come back to the same moment, with nothing duplicated or lost.
  • A lab nobody has entered for 72 hours pauses until someone does, so abandoned labs cost nothing.
  • /drugsadmin edits recipes, timers, quality rules, effects, addiction, skills, raids and shops in game, without a restart. Admins see every lab on the Live lab page and pick Easy, Default or Hardcore.

Fits the server you already run.

Questions before you buy.

Do players need an admin to get a lab?

Admins hand out labs behind street doors or as lab grids inside your MLOs, and players can't buy those. Players can also pitch their own tent lab on open ground with a tent item from the supply shop, no admin needed.

Which frameworks and inventories are supported?

ESX, QBCore and Qbox. ox_inventory is recommended; qb-inventory, qs-inventory, tgiann-inventory and ESX's own inventory work too. Only inventories with item metadata (ox, qb, qs, tgiann) show a product's quality, the seeds in a dried branch or a pill's colour.

What else do I need to install?

electus_core, oxmysql and OneSync, a target resource, and the items in your inventory. The resource ships a ready-made ox_inventory item list with an icon for every item.

Can I change recipes, timers and prices?

Yes. Everything is in the config, and most of it can be changed in game on the admin panel without a restart: recipes, growth and cooking times, quality rules, effects, addiction, skills, raids and shops. Easy, Default and Hardcore shift every timer and risk at once.

Does it work with Electus Gangs?

Yes. With both installed, Electus Gangs uses this resource's street dealing, and every sale counts towards the seller's gang reputation, XP, zone progress and war points.

Can I ask a question before purchasing?

Yes. Join the Electus Discord to confirm compatibility, dependencies or installation details before you buy.
