A complete operating system for FiveM roleplay.

Electus Computers adds laptops, desktops, TVs and networked devices that run one familiar OS, from mail and files to hacking tools.

Real hardware, not a menu.

Every device has a serial number, storage, wifi and its own files. Carry it, place it, lend it or steal it.

Boots like a real computer.

A lock screen, accounts and passwords your players already understand, before a single line of RP.

One OS, three kinds of software.

Everything runs in the same windows, taskbar and file system. Each kind of software keeps the look that fits its job.

Electus OS first-time setup on a laptop, choosing a computer name and a wallpaper — A new computer starts with a short setup: give it a name and pick a wallpaper.

Everyday

Familiar desktop software for every character, so nobody needs a tutorial to send a mail or save a file.

Mail
Browser
Cloud Drive

Arcade

Trash

The Browser opens your server's own websites and has a website builder. The Arcade has four games: Snake, Pinball, Tunnel Rush and Missile Defense.

Operations

Focused, technical tools for criminals and hackers, with their own dark interface and real risk attached.

Encrypted Chat
Secure Browser
C-coin Wallet
Heat Monitor
Call Intercept
Radio Intercept
SMS Dump
Password Resetter
Phone Triangulator
VPN

The Secure Browser opens an encrypted marketplace, where lots are auctioned for C-coin and collected at a drop, and a hacking wiki that sells guides.

Work

Role-gated software for police and businesses, tied to jobs, money and shared records.

Police Tools
Evidence Board
Business
Boss Menu

Police Tools include a tracking map. Businesses get a storefront website for orders and bookings, and realtors list homes and commercial property on a real estate website.

Devices that exist in the world.

Every device is an item with a serial number. Files, software and settings live on the machine, not on the player.

Laptops

Carry them as items, open them anywhere, and choose from five finishes. Each one keeps its own files and settings.

Desktop computers

Place them in homes, offices and stations. Admins can also place persistent computers in the world.

TVs

Mount a TV on a wall and cast presentations, photos and screens to it for everyone in the room.

Routers and SIM cards

Share a wifi network with nearby computers, or insert a SIM card for mobile internet.

USB drives and cables

Move files and software between machines on 4 GB and 10 GB drives, or link computers and printers with cables.

Printers

Print documents into real inventory items that can be handed over, stored or shown to others.

Police officers in a briefing room watching a presentation cast to a wall-mounted TV — Cast a presentation to a TV for the whole briefing room.

Card terminal on a shop counter showing an approved $500 payment — A card terminal cabled to a computer takes payments from the Business app.

Hacking that happens on the machine.

Criminal software keeps its own focused, dark character and plugs into the rest of your server.

Hacking software is bought in the in-game store, installed on a specific machine and takes up storage.
Intercept nearby calls and radio traffic, dump SMS from phones and triangulate a phone's position.
Heat builds up as players operate, and a VPN reduces how much attention they draw.
Run any hacking program as a minigame from your own resources and verify the result on the server.

Port Breacher
Binary Decoder
Grid Recall
Color Cipher
Signal Matcher
Packet Router
Circuit Bypass
Credential Cracker
Firewall Sweep
Decryption Tool

Radio Intercept and Call Intercept side by side, locked onto a radio carrier and a voice relay — Radio and call intercepts lock onto nearby traffic within the antenna's range.

Four hacking programs running on a laptop: Circuit Bypass, Credential Cracker, Firewall Sweep and Port Breacher — Every hacking program is its own puzzle, with its own rules and time limit.

Built to be extended.

Bring your own resources onto the desktop with a stable export API.

Add your own app to every computer, or list it in the in-game software store with a price.
Your app is a normal web page in a window, with two-way messages to your Lua code.
Create computers, install and remove apps from the server for jobs, shops and rewards.
Localised UI, configurable websites, mail accounts, stores and retention rules.

Fits the server you already run.

Questions before you buy.

Is the laptop at the top of the page the real interface?

Yes. The screen at the end of the animation is the actual in-game UI running in your browser with demo data. Features that need the game, like sounds, payments and other players, are turned off.

Which frameworks and inventories are supported?

ESX, QBCore and Qbox. Items carry serial numbers, so an inventory with item metadata is required: ox_inventory is recommended, and qb-inventory, qs-inventory, core_inventory and tgiann-inventory are supported.

What else do I need to install?

electus_core, ox_lib and oxmysql. The database tables are created and updated automatically by the electus_core database checker, so there is no SQL to import by hand.

Can I add my own apps?

Yes. Any resource can add a desktop app with one export. Your app is a web page in an OS window, can be free or sold in the in-game software store, and talks to your Lua code through messages.

Can I ask a question before purchasing?

Yes. Join the Electus Discord to confirm compatibility, dependencies or installation details before you buy.

Give your city computers worth sitting down at.
